Kelly was a man of his word, so when he told megan if she were to ever visit Chicago he'd take her out and show her around he had meant it. He had taken her to all the good places to eat (of course this was just one man's opinion), treated her to Chicago style pizza, showed her around the firehouse, and now they were at Molly's.

He dried off and went and laid down next to her, looking at her at the question. Her unsureness brought his to the surface. He didn't want to do anything to hurt or upset her. He smiled and settled beside her and drew her close, kissing the top of her head. "Anything you want."

Megan could sense from that look she said something wrong. "I'm sorry," she said. "Like I said...it's been five years."

"You don't have anything to be sorry for. You didn't do anything wrong." He smiled reassuring her with a gentle hug and leaned in kissing her gently.

"No, but I can see the way you look at me. Like I don't know what I'm doing." She sighed and laid her head back on the pillows closing her eyes. "I never should've asked you to do this with me."

"I'm not even thinking that about you Megan." His brow creased that way it does when he worries. "Not at all." His hand smoothed along her stomach tenderly and he lifted her chin tenderly to look her in the eyes. "We are taking it slow. I don't want to hurt you or push anything."

"I don't think you'll hurt me. Or if you did I'd tell you." She sighed and moved closer to him on the bed. "I want this with you, Kelly. I do. I know I'm not the girl you're looking for but I want you."

"You deserve better than me anyway, Megan. You deserve a man who will be there for you everyday. Treat you like the amazing woman you are. Rub your back or feet at night." He smiled and stroked her cheek tenderly before kissing her softly. "If I do something wrong, tell me okay?"

"Of course I will." She kissed him back lightly and moved closer so she was laying on her side beside him. "I think you're a wonderful guy, Kelly. If I lived closer I would absolutely ask you out." But she didn't, and if she was honest she had her baggage with Chase and even with Jesse to worry about.

"Well hey, you are still stuck with me as a friend. If you think you can put up with me." He grinned at her playfully. "And any guy hurts you back home, you call me and I'll come out there and kick ass."

"Of course I'd love to put up with you." She smiled, she knew in that moment just what she was going to do when she got home. She had someone important to talk to. But for now, she snuggled her body up against his. "What do you wanna do?"

"Why don't we lay here awhile and talk, hmm?" He smiled and rubbed her back nice and slow, kissing her temple tenderly.

"Sure." She relaxed against him, shifting so she wasn't poking him with her breasts. "What do you want to talk about? I think we covered our romantic mishaps. And work is, well, that's not fun."

"What do you like to do for fun? Something we can do while you are here." He smiled softly looking at her. "How about we do Six Flags?"

"That'd be fun. I love churros for some odd reason." Megan chuckled. "I really am just kind of a stay at home girl. I like to cook, and I do all my own home improvements. Jesse and I just repainted our apartment."

"Sounds like fun, and sounds like you have someone to take care of you. Which is good, like knowing you are okay." He rubbed her back nice and slow, he was enjoying spending time with her.

"I do." She nodded. "Jesse's my roommate. He's a really great guy, kind of in the same place as me, trying to overcome a rough past and get a fresh start. So we confide in each other and we really work as a team together. Plus, I have to admit, he's kinda cute."

"Well see there you go. Maybe he feels the same." Sure she was in his bed naked, and they touched each other intimately. Ultimately he wanted her happy, and if there was a possibility for her and a great guy back home? Well as a friend he would try and encourage that, just showed he was truly a friend and not just looking for a piece.

"Oh, you mean...whoa there." Megan chuckled. "Jesse and I are just friends. I mean he's my best friend but...he could do a lot better than me. And he's been through enough stuff with his exes." Pause. "Does everyone I know have an ex problem?"

"Maybe we should start a club, get t-shirts made." He chuckled softly and wrapped an arm around her. "Selling yourself short again."

Megan chuckled, she knew the soft spot that was there in her heart for Jesse, had been since they had met really. "He's wonderful," she admitted. "He can't see it, but he is. It's just tough because of his past, he's done things he thinks make him a bad person, he's afraid of pushing me away. And I can never get him to understand that I care about him unconditionally."

"He needs to be hit over the head or grabbed and kissed. Both will knock him on his ass." He smirked at that, picturing her trying to smack someone upside the head amused him for some reason.

"Okay now what's that smirk for?" Megan said, laughing, the tension in the room forgotten now as she just relaxed beside him. However, she might have just grabbed his ass in a playful sort of way. Hey, she had to at least once.

"Picturing you trying to smack someone upside the head." Kelly smirked at the assgrab and returned the favor, grabbing a nice full handful of that ass.

"I'm not that short, Kelly. You're just tall." Megan grinned. "And sue me, you are very well put together, though I'm sure women tell you that all the time."

"You'd have to sue me too." He gave her ass a playful swat then.
